Hello Legacy,

Several users have claimed to be firewalled when they are not. This thread is going to be used to help diagnose your issue with connecting to legacy's network.

If you are unable to connect, you will need to do 2 things to help me determine if you are firewalled from our network or not.

Goto Start > Run > type cmd > type ping logon.wowlegacy.net
Goto Start > Run > type cmd > type tracert logon.wowlegacy.net

Once both boxes have completed and you are back to a C:> or C:\Users\Username> prompt, right click on each box and click "Mark" then highlight everything you see then right click again to copy it, once it is copied place it here so that I can see the results.

If pings are successful, you are not firewalled on our network.

New Gear System

Armor Sets:

- Furious is the new Starter Gear (Free)
- Relentless costs between 2500 to 15300 honor points
- BG Wrathful costs between 12750 to 34700 honor points
- Arena Wrathful 350 to 3750 points & 1400 to 2050 personal/team ranking

Custom Vote Gear:

- Costs between 15 to 300 Vote Tokens which can be gotten through the rewards page, you must have all five piece of the Wrathful Arena or BG armor set in order to interact with the vendor, Great Job Stigmata.

Donation Gear:

- Donation Gear is now purchasable in game from vendors for Donation Tokens which can be gotten through the rewards page; this should cut back on issues with regard to buying the wrong items for your characters.
- Donation Accessories are now available for purchase
- The donation script works again big thanks to Silentstorm
- Unfortunately due to the way TC2 caches its item info players with old donation gear will have to make a ticket and GMs will exchange your old gear for tokens so you can purchase your new items off the vendors.

Starter Item Vendors:

- Free and low cost enchants, gems and glyphs

Extras:

- There are 3 new mazes replacing the old Maze/Stair event
- A new Professions Mall and Auctioneers in game for you to sell your wares along with personal bankers from you to store your goods
- 14 PvP title quests for each faction the quest item being gotten by killing the opposite faction in BGs and Arena matches.
- Random BGs work
- New PvP stair event in Booty Bay created by Legends

I’d like to thank everyone who worked on this project; Silentstorm, Sanity, Stigmata, Legends, Dabeer to name a few. It was a much harder task then expected given the changes TC2 has done to its core and DB structure which is in part why it took longer than expected to get done.

First off, we would like to thank everyone who has stuck through all of the problems over the course of the last several months.

As you may have noticed, legacy's website has been a lot more stable until tonight. That was my fault due to some logging stuff I put into place but forgot all about, this is now fixed and shouldn't happen again, the servers however remained online and playable the entire time.

Over the last week in a half, the legacy staff including myself have been working hard to get things ironed out, this includes fixing bits and pieces of the website, and a few other things which will be announced soon.

Account creation is now fixed, as well as the donation, voting, and rewards pages.

Hello Legacy Community,

I just wanted to provide everyone with a quick update.

We are still experiencing some heavy ddos in the form of a Syn Flood to pretty much all of our open ports.

The information previously provided by Hacker is 100% accurate. I will say with 100% confidence that Crusade Gaming is behind these attacks while Silent will completely deny this we have proof and solid evidence linking Silent and Crusade Gaming to these attacks.

I have contacted the local authorities in the state of Texas where myself and Silent currently reside regarding this issue, the FBI office out of Houston, Texas is gathering log files and any data that we have pertaining to this issue.

Why Houston? Well, our good friend Silent lives out of Spring, TX which is just outside of Houston, north about 20 miles.

Anyways, we are working pretty hard to get this issue resolved. We have devised up a few solutions which could potentially fix this problem once and for all. A notification will be sent out to everyone once we can be sure this solution will be good for everyone.
